Manizales

How is Manizales after the 10 August 2026 earthquake?

Some places in the centre and in Chipre remain closed — the Cathedral, the Chipre Tower and the Monument to the Colonizers — while the Cable Car, several parks and coffee farms are operating again. The guide marks each place’s status with its source and the date we checked. For questions about your arrival, ask the hostel.

Does the hostel run tours?

Hostelworld and Booking.com mention a tourist-information desk. The places in our guide are run by independent third parties: the hostel doesn’t sell them or partner with them.
